Currently the UIDAI system provides the facility to change the Aadhaar card if there are any discrepancies in the profile. You can update your demographic details such as name, address, date of birth/age, gender, mobile number, and email address through online. But you have to visit Aadhaar Enrolment center to update biometric information such as iris, finger prints and facial photograph.

How to change photo in your Aadhar Card?

  • You need to download the Aadhaar Enrollment Form available on the UIDAI site. Click Here to download Form.
  • Complete the required details in the Aadhar Enrolment Form in full.
  • You will need to verify your biometric data by submitting the form to the officer at the Aadhar Enrolment Center.
  • Aadhar will check and confirm your biometric data if you give it to the officer at the Enrolment Center.
  • Then they will take your photo and update the Aadhar Card. The service charge is 100 rupees and GST.
  • Then they will give you the OTP number for your photo update. They will give you a URN number to check the status of Photo update.

You will receive new Aadhar card to your registered address after completing photo updation process. You can also able to download soft copy of Aadhar Card.
